Northumberland Holiday Day 2

Monday 30th April 2018

Holy Island & Seahouses

A very sunny day with a cool strong NE wind making it quite cool along the coast.

The wind was making some interesting waves as the tide came in.

Holy Island.

We had a 2 hour slot before the incoming tide would cut us off.

Birds:-

Black Tailed Godwit (?), Wheatear, Ringed Plover, Redstart, Dunlin.
A large flock of UNID's!

Seahouses.

A tad drafty here as well!

Birds:-

60+m Eider Duck, Gannet, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Great Black Backed Gull, Kittiwake, Cormorant, Turnstone, Ringed Plover.

A Gull with all white underwing – A Kittiwake.

    Yep happy with the Kittiwake missed the black tiptip, lost it in the background with Lots of photos to sort and post.
    My Godwit ID is rubbish - get them wrong everytime!
    Have you any thoughts on my Day1 Little Gull?
